Harrison Family Reunions
For many years, our family reunions were more than just gatherings. They were a tradition. A time when generations came together, stories were shared, laughter filled the park, and bonds were strengthened. In the 80s and 90s, Riverview Park was a familiar backdrop to those memories, and for many of us, that time still represents the heart of what family means.
Over the years, life happened. We have experienced loss, distance, and long pauses between moments of togetherness. Even through change, one thing has remained true. Staying connected matters. Honoring where we come from matters. Making sure our children know each other, their roots, and the people who came before them matters.
This reunion is our way of bringing that tradition back. It is an homage to the gatherings we remember, the ancestors we honor, and the joy we want to pass forward.
Above all, this reunion is about fun, family, and being present with one another. We are excited to reconnect, remember, laugh, and create new memories together.

What to Expect on Reunion Day
When you arrive, you’ll check in with the Welcome Committee. Share your name and family, then receive your welcome package, including your wristband and t-shirt if ordered.
From there, the day is yours to enjoy.
Spend time connecting with family, listening to great music, and enjoying food throughout the day, from snacks and appetizers to our catered meal and grilled favorites.
You can join in on games, tournaments, and activities for all ages, or simply relax and take it all in. There will also be moments for storytelling, memory-sharing, and honoring our family’s legacy.
There is a pool at Riverview Park located close to our reunion area. Availability has not been confirmed yet, and we will share updates as we get closer to the date. Feel free to bring swimwear for yourself or your children just in case.
There is no pressure to do everything. Come, be present, and enjoy the experience.

Fundraising helps us keep costs low and children discounted.
To make this possible, we’re coming together as a family. Throughout the year, we’ll host fun, engaging fundraising efforts that help cover reunion expenses while giving everyone a chance to participate and stay connected. These efforts will change month to month and are designed to be easy, enjoyable, and inclusive.

ABOUT SPIN FOR THE WIN
Spin for the Win is our 50/50 fundraiser supporting the Harrison Family Reunion 2026. This fundraiser is designed to be fun, simple, and engaging while helping offset reunion costs so we can keep registration affordable for everyone.
Participants purchase chances to be entered into a live wheel spin. One lucky winner will receive 50% of the total pot, and the remaining 50% goes directly toward funding the Harrison Family Reunion.
This is a family-led effort, and all proceeds support food, location, entertainment, and shared experiences that bring us together.

• Minimum entry: $25
- $25 = 5 chances on the wheel
- Additional chances are $5 each
• Winner payout: One winner will receive 50% of the total funds collected
• Use of funds: The remaining 50% will support Harrison Family Reunion 2026 expenses

• Entry confirmation: Entries are confirmed once payment is received

Join us for Sunday service at our family church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where generations of our family have worshipped since coming to Pittsburgh. Our very own LaTosha Harris "Tosha" serves as a preacher here.
Sunday Service begins at 11:00 AM. All are welcome to attend and experience this meaningful part of our family’s history and faith.
